My recollection is that the math tests focus on Algebra 2 (because it is not tested on the SAT) and Geometry. I always assumed they were important and that they helped differentiate between a lot of applicants who have >700 SAT math scores. Thus, I think the tests are objectively pretty difficult because they would be useless otherwise. But subjectively, I think most students who have made it to interview day are well prepared for the tests. Good luck!
